ENTERTAINMENT

From bounce houses, to the euro bungy, there are over 20
activities and entertainment to please a crowd of all ages.
Adults can tour local craft booths, take a climb on the rock
wall or a photo at the picture booth. Kids are also invited to
discover "Safety Street," an interactive and informational
display where they can climb on a fire truck, explore an
ambulance and meet police dogs, firefighters and police officers. Representatives from various safety departments are
always on hand to answer questions and curious thoughts.

Continuous live entertainment by local musical groups and
dancers fill the air as a complement to the fresh aroma of
crisp, freshly cut lemons. The sounds and smells extend
across to the adjacent lot where you can find the Fall Classic
Car and Street Rod Show. With scores of cars on display, this
show is guaranteed to spark the curiosity of the young and
old alike.

LEMON PIE & SAVORY BITES
Don't miss the one time a year to get your lemon meringue
pie from Anna's Bakery! The Lemon Festival offers a host of
food booths, sponsored by community organizations and
local restaurants. Lemon-flavored chicken, sherbet and cotton candy are among a few of the treats with freshly made
lemon meringue pies and lemon bars as crowd favorites.
Other ethnic and cultural foods are available for those on
lemon overload.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Mark your calendar for September 16 & 17, 2017-and
make sure you do not miss the exciting atmosphere, lively
activities, educational experiences, local arts and crafts,
and delicious food. Be sure to grab your family and friends
and celebrate the historic Goleta lemon at the 2017 Goleta
Lemon Festival at Girsh Park.

LEMON LIBATIONS
Locally owned and operated Hollister Brewing Company
is brewing the 2017 Lemon Ale. In addition, Mike's Hard
Lemonade and Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Oreana
Winery are available.

LEMON DINNER AT THE RANCH:
CELEBRATING GOLETA'S HERITAGE
AND CULINARY EXCELLENCE
Each fall, community members gather in the gardens
at Rancho La Patera and Stow House to celebrate
the heritage of the Goleta Lemon Festival and our
local culinary treasures.
The evening mirrors a farm-to-table dinner. Chef
Julia Crookston from the Goodland Kitchen prepared the first course salad, where all of the ingredients were grown within seven miles of where
guests were seated.
Chef Vincent Lesage, Executive Chef at Bacara Resort and Spa prepared the main course followed
by The Outpost's Executive Chef Nick Bajal preparing dessert.
Attendees enjoyed local wine and craft beer all on the grounds where the first Lemon Festival
was held. The unique dining experience celebrates lemons, good food and our great community.

This year's Lemon Dinner will be held August 31, 2017.
