Lillian Carson, d.S.W., (ask Grand: “The Toxic Mom,” page 28) is the author of The Essential Grandparent  and The Essential Grandparent’s Guide to Divorce. a psychotherapist in private practice in Los angeles and Santa Barbara, dr. Carson lives in Montecito, California, with her husband and enjoys grandparenting six grandchildren.
