Are you a visionary,

ow about our cover girl, the invincible Judy
George? Not sure you can place the name? Judy
is the brains (and vision and guts) behind some

I was honored to interview Judy and deeply moved
as she shared her all-American success story. From the
time she was a little girl, Judy had a passion for design,
for decorating, for shaping her environment to reflect
what she felt inside.
We know how often children abandon their dreams
for more practical pursuits as they grow, but Judy had
the drive to turn hers into reality and re-shape the
world of home design. Judy's bold and forward-looking
attitude has her making business magic again, this time
joining her sons to bring a unique new hair product to
the market. She's my new role model!
Judy's design personality quiz will help you to
discover your design 'type'. It turns out that I'm an
'Idealist' and it is right on target. Find yours here.

Why end ageism?
t's not the passage of time that
makes it so hard to get older. It's
ageism, a prejudice that pits us
against our future selves - and
each other. Ashton Applewhite
urges us to dismantle the dread
and mobilize against the last
socially acceptable prejudice.
"Aging is not a problem to be fixed
or a disease to be cured," she says.
"It is a natural, powerful, lifelong
process that unites us all."
