HGASXMW
DESCRIPTION: HGASXMW is ITM Power's modularbased
system capable of large-scale hydrogen
production. This product is a large electrolyzer system
built based on modules of three ITM Power stacks.
Each three-stack module is built on a skid frame
suitable to be housed indoors and is rated at 2 MW
capacity at beginning of life. The number of 2-MW
modules in the system is scaled according to the
hydrogen output or electrical input requirements
of the customer. For example, a 10-MW electrolyzer
system would be made up of five 2-MW modules.
Each 2-MW module can operate independently of
one another, allowing for greater flexibility in load
control and rolling maintenance. The 2-MW modules
are deployed alongside the vital sub-systems required
for operation. Input water and output hydrogen
purification options are available, depending on
specific customizable requirements.

Industrial hydrogen application for refining,
methanation, renewable ammonia, steel, glass, mining
and renewable methanol.
Energy storage applications include decarbonizing
heat, grid balancing, hydrogen islands, power-to-gas
energy storage, hydrogen tube trailer filling, back-up
power, storing renewable energy and hydrogen lighting
Fuel applications include hydrogen fuel stations for
cars, buses, trains, trucks and hydrogen for shipping and
materials handling.
