solutions provider, has acquired VacVision Environmental, a
trenchless infrastructure and service contractor. Located in South
Carolina and Florida, VacVision will significantly bolster Vortex's brand and strength in the Southeast.

Even Pipelines Are Happy When PICA
Is On The Job

Pipeline Inspection and Condition Analysis (PICA) Corporation is currently performing an inspection of 4 miles of 66-inch cement and steel
cylinder lined PCCP pipe in southern California. To test the resolution
of PICA's brand new In-Line Inspection Tool, the customer embedded
some small button magnets in the cement lining, and cemented over
them so that PICA didn't know they were there.
The photo shows the pattern made by the magnets, and the incredible
resolution of the tool - as well as the customer's great sense of humour!
A subsidiary of Russell NDE, PICA offers in-line inspection tool
services to the water and wastewater industries. The parent company
designs and manufactures non-destructive evaluation equipment
under various brands, and distributes NDE equipment for high-quality
manufacturers.
