New for 2020 is an expanded track for young professionals, hosted by the North Texas Chapter of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA). Young professionals will learn how visiting a manufacturing facility benefits young engineers and how to maximize the learning experience of such visits. They will discover considerations and solutions for aerial crossing rehabilitation in pipeline design. Other topics geared for Young Professionals include developing construction cost estimates, and how creating a young professionals group in the workplace is an innovative approach to career development. Taught by industry experts, all educational program sessions offer practical solutions to everyday problems that can be implemented immediately on the job site. The program qualifies for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) reviewed and granted by the University of Texas at Arlington.
