Telecommunications firm C Spire plans to spend almost $2.2 million to install more than 30 miles
of underground fiber infrastructure in four rural Mississippi counties. The company was among
19 recipients of federal funds under the Mississippi Broadband COVID-19 program.

Despite legal challenges, delays and mounting construction
costs, developers can finally see light at the end of the
Mountain Valley Pipeline. Completion of the now-$5.4 billion
project is expected in early 2021.

EPA Issues Final Rule
for Drinking Water Pipelines
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued its final
regulation regarding pipeline materials used for drinking water.
The agency made changes to existing regulations based on the
Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act enacted by Congress.

21 State Attorneys General Sue
Over New Trump Water Rule
Attorney generals in 20 states and the District of Columbia
sued the Trump administration, alleging that new federal rules
for pipelines and other construction projects undermine
their ability to protect the environment.
