Dennis Doherty, P.E., F. ASCE,
joined engineering, construction

environmental professional
services firm Kleinfelder, as a
senior principal professional. Bringing 40 years
of industry experience to the role, he provides
technical expertise and drives advancement and
integration of leading-edge trenchless technologies
on oil and gas, utility, water/wastewater, and
municipal infrastructure projects.

McMillen Jacobs
Kami Deputy Gardella,
P.E., joined the firm as
senior associate engineer,
supporting the dams and
levee business unit at the
new Longmont, Colo. office.
Eva Hartmann was promoted
to chief human resources
officer and will continue to
lead the firm's Human
Resources Department
from the Glen Allen, Va., corporate office.
Scott Newhouse, P.E., joined
the firm as senior associate
engineer, focusing on power
and energy, and working with
major national and international
client from the Columbia, S.C. office.
Jesse Wullenwaber, P.E.,
was promoted to associate
engineer at the Chadds Ford,
Pa. office.

GSSI
GSSI, the world's leading
manufacturer of ground
penetrating radar (GPR)
equipment, has expanded the
role of Amber Onufer,
technical sales support associate. In addition to
supporting geophysical and environmental
markets, she also manages business operations in
Central and South America. Joining GSSI in 2019,

Victor Romero, P.E., CPEng,
as president of the Underground
Division, responsible for leading
its executive management, strategy, and
operational functions. During his almost 30-year
career with the firm, he has provided leadership and
underground engineering in the water, wastewater,
highway, and rail transit sectors, including some of
McMillen Jacobs' largest and most complex
design-build projects.

Brown and Caldwell
Sebastien Le Scraigne joined
Walnut Creek, Calif.-based,
environmental engineering
and construction firm Brown
and Caldwell. As Vancouver
leader, he is responsible for operations
management, providing exceptional client service,
and expanding the firm's regional presence and
talent pool to meet market and customer needs. He
has 14 years of experience in the design,
optimization, construction and commissioning of
large water and wastewater projects.
Dr. Randall Watts also joined
the firm, as industrial water
senior process engineer,
developing and implementing
tailored solutions to water and
wastewater challenges. He brings 24 years of
related experience, including as technical lead on
numerous high-profile projects to improve
treatment system performance at production
facilities in multiple countries.

PPI
The Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc.'s (PPI) Power and
Communications Division (PCD), which focuses
on high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduit for
power and communication cabling applications,
elected new officers.
Randy Kummer, of Southwire
Company LLC (Carrollton, Ga.),
was elected to division chair.
In this role, he also represents
PCD on the PPI Board of
Directors for the next two years, taking over from
Stephanie Maskas of Four Star Industries (Allendale,
S.C.), who moved into the past chair role.
Vice-chair is Adriana Velasquez,
of Shell Polymers (Deer Park,
Texas), who previously served
on the PCD Management
Committee as the Education
Committee chair. Richard Hicks of Dura-Line, Ltd
(Knoxville, Tenn.), is now chair of the Education
Committee, joining the management team
for the first time.

Vacuworx
Charlie Cunningham joined
Vacuworx's North America
sales and leadership teams
as senior director. Based in
Maryville, Tenn., he provides
management and strategies for the sales team,
while also driving new distribution partnerships
to support material handling in the oil and gas
pipeline, utility infrastructure, highway and
transportation, and concrete renovation markets.
He brings more than two decades of related
leadership experience in sales, marketing and
business development activities.

Volvo
Patrick Shannon was appointed
president of Volvo Financial
Services' (VFS) North American
region, based in Greensboro,
N.C. He is responsible for the
company's business operations and financial
performance, in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
He has over 30 years of experience, the majority
with VFS and the Volvo Group, in sales, wholesale
operations and risk management senior leadership,
most recently as senior vice president of Risk
and chief credit officer for VFS.
