users can proactively bid and estimate jobs more
accurately, and retroactively assist in billing.
* Improved recordkeeping and analysis:
SiteWatch's reporting menu presents data in a
way that is intuitive and brings actionable data
to the forefront, for more intelligent business
decision making and management.
* Locate equipment: If you're not sure which
crew has a skid steer, or which job site has the
wheel loader, SiteWatch will tell you.
* Prevent unauthorized use: Whether geofenced
with alerts, or simply identified through
retrospective reporting, SiteWatch identifies and
alerts equipment owners to the unauthorized
use of valuable assets.
* Equipment security: Telematics helps locate
stolen equipment, which, if recovered and
returned by the authorities, is much less
expensive than the resulting downtime and
replacement costs.
For a limited time, CASE is easing the transition
for long-time users by making a dedicated icon in
the upper right corner of the program available for
switching from the new SiteWatch interface to the
previous version.

Doosan's Updated Mini
Excavators Deliver Enhanced
Performance, Productivity

Doosan Infracore North America LLC, updated mini
excavator models, DX42-5K and DX50-5K, with new
innovations to increase machine performance, versatility, operator comfort and reliability. In addition,
these 4- to 5-metric-ton excavators' compact size
and mobility make them perfect for utility companies that perform underground construction tasks.

DX42-5K and DX50-5K have a high-performing,
more fuel-efficient, 3-cylinder Doosan diesel
engine. Four new tie-downs - for a total of
six - provide extra security during transport.
For additional dig depth and reach, a long-arm
option is available.
A new dual-flange track roller system works
in tandem with an enhanced counterweight
for better over-the-side digging and lifting
capabilities. Operators now have the option to
remove the bucket when lifting to maximize
capacity with the new secure lifting point.
For added strength, the dozer blade's top edge
features a more durable design. The blade and
frame also have an angled top and rounded edges
to keep material from building up on the blade
and improve debris shedding. An angle blade
remains an option for both models.
Another example of design modification to
improve durability is the machine panels come
together for a tighter and better fit.
Easy-to-reach auxiliary hydraulic couplers,
now located on the machines' arm, help reduce
the time it takes to connect the hydraulic hoses.
A new clamp diverter valve option also enables
quick connection to another attachment without
disconnecting the hydraulic clamp hoses.
Coming standard from the factory with an
enclosed, air-conditioned cab, taller and wider
windows offer better visibility, and foldable pedals
increase foot room. The ergonomic design also
includes wider seats, responsive joystick controls,
and new joystick buttons to provide additional
hands-on control functions.
Cab options include integrated rearview camera
for enhanced all-around visibility and a canopy for
customers preferring an open operating station.
