Five new dealers joined the SANY network, which

* Innovative Equipment Services LLC
(EquipmentShare), in Phoenix, is the first
dealer located in Arizona, and the sixth
EquipmentShare dealer location with exclusive
SANY retail distribution rights.
SANY also celebrated a major production
milestone, with the 100th SY215C excavator
rolling off the manufacturing line at its America's
headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga. Since the first
unit was completed in July 2019, it has become the
most-popular SANY excavator model in the U.S.,
used by operators in a variety of job conditions,

National Trench Safety LLC completed three office
locations in less than 30 days, during August,
reinforcing its ongoing " commitment to continual
growth and improvement of our operations,
even in the face of an unprecedented pandemic, "

* The Miami-area operation relocated to a new,
built-to-suit facility at Dania Beach, in the general
Fort Lauderdale area. The new " showcase
branch " features upgraded offices; a large,
modern training room; and approximately
2 acres of paved storage yard.
* A larger facility in Denver provides increased
office, warehouse and outside storage space
to bring in additional products that support a
growing customer base and market presence.
* The Seattle operation, now located in Tukwila,
Wash., has a new facility with a modern rental
office; dedicated building for conducting OSHAcompliant training; and a separate, large shop.

Herrenknecht hosted a Training Day in July at its
Schwanau, Germany, state-of-the-art plant, to
attract smart, young men and women as applicants
for the 2021 training year.
About 100 visitors attended and showed strong
interest in an apprenticeship at Herrenknecht,
reported Klaus Himmelsbach, head of training.
Planning the event, of course, required great
attention to Coronavirus-related guidelines and
requirements throughout the day-long event, such
as online (contact-free) pre-registration for fixed
appointments, distance markings, availability and
use of disinfectants, and wearing face coverings.
Other details ensured it was an informative, cohesive and varied experience. Small groups started
the day observing the live presentation of two,
10-meter-diameter boring machines for a railway
tunnel project in the United Kingdom.
In the training workshop, 10 practically designed
stations reflected the wide range of possibilities:
12 different occupations in the industrial, technical,
commercial and IT areas, as well as two options
for joining the company while studying.
Current Herrenknecht apprentices and trainees,
as well as training staff and supervisors, responded
to attendees' questions about the application
process, theoretical and practical content of the
apprenticeships and degree internship programs,
training schedules, and many other topics.
