planning, engineering and
program management firm
Lockwood, Andrews &
Newnam, Inc. (LAN), as a
senior project manager,
serving clients in California.
He has more than 29 years of experience in
hydrology studies, floodplain mapping, hydraulic
structure design and project management, which
has included managing, designing and reviewing
numerous flood control projects.
McKim & Creed
Richard ( " Rick " ) Dorr joined
engineering and surveying firm
McKim & Creed, as regional
director of geomatics. In this
role, he will oversee the firm's
surveying, mapping and
subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services
throughout Texas.
He brings 39 years of experience, with expertise
in the technical areas of surveying, project
coordination, safety training and management,
and managing large, complex projects in both the
public and private sectors.
Infrastructure Engineering
Kashif Khan, P.E., was
appointed as president of
Infrastructure Engineering Inc.,
a Chicago-based multidisciplinary
consulting firm.
Michael Sutton, P.E., who has
served as president and CCEO since purchasing
the company in 1997, will retain the CEO role.
As President, Mr. Khan has oversight of all key
functional areas of the firm and will manage
day-to-day operational matters.
He brings to this role, great technical and
managerial experience accompanied by a strong
belief in corporate responsibility. Mr. Khan received
his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from
City University of New York, Grove School of
Engineering and earned his Master of Business
Administration from the University of Indianapolis.
Since joining IEI in 2006, Khan has held key
leadership roles, with project delivery, sales and
business operations, most recently as executive
vice president, overseeing the project delivery
with a focus on improving operational efficiencies
and client satisfaction.

Robert Goode, P.E., joined
planning, engineering and
program management firm
Lockwood, Andrews &
Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as vice
president and senior program
manager, responsible for growing LAN's business
in Austin and central Texas.
A veteran executive, he has 37 years of experience
directing complex infrastructure projects - from
inception to completion - for large city, county
and private entities, including capital improvement
programs ranging from $50 million to $1 billion.
Thomas Mountz, P.E., senior
project manager at LAN,
was honored for his long
service to the Texas Floodplain
Management Association
(TFMA) and contributions
to the water resources industry.
Serving the water resources industry for
48 years, he has comprehensive experience
as an engineer and project manager and is
recognized as an expert witness in stormwater
management and floodplain issues.
Black & Veatch
Scott DeGeeter joined Black
& Veatch as vice president,
Power Operating Assets
Services. In this new role, he
guides offerings designed to
help clients address OpEx
challenges that align with findings from Black &
Veatch's annual Strategic Directions: Electric Report.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in
operations, plant management, asset management,
and project leadership, with previous experience in
the utility sector.
Yanmar
Tate Johnson was named
president of Yanmar Compact
Equipment North America, a
Grand Rapids, Minn.-based
leader in the design and
manufacturing of advanced performance diesel
engines and diesel-powered equipment.
He is responsible for leading and developing
growth initiatives of the company, as its two
brands - Yanmar Compact Equipment (compact
excavators, tracked carriers and wheel loaders)
and ASV (Posi-Track compact track loaders) -
progress in a joint vision of Yanmar Compact
Equipment North America.
Lee Thole was named director
of aftermarket, responsible
for strengthening several
post-sales support functions,
as well as further development
and implementation of the
aftermarket strategy. He brings more than 20 years
of experience, with a strong background in parts,
service, and overall business operations.
David Gannon is the new
director of channel
development, which involves
working closely with the dealer
network, both by recruiting
dealers and assisting existing
dealers in being successful. He joins this role with
30 years of multi-industry experience.
Washington UTC
The Washington Utilities and Transportation
Commission appointed Amanda Maxwell as its
new executive director, succeeding Mark Johnson,
who is retiring after 34 years in state service.
Maxwell has held several positions at the
commission over the last 13 years, most recently,
serving as director of consumer protection
and communications.
Based in Lacey, Wash., UTC regulates the
rates and services of telecommunications
companies, investor-owned electric utilities,
natural gas and water companies, pipeline
companies, and other organizations providing
utility and transportation services.
Felling Trailers
Felling Trailers Inc., national
leader in industrial and
commercial trailer
manufacturing, hired
Joel Lindmeyer as regional
sales manager. Responsible for
all sales development, and dealer training and
support across the Great Lakes region, he replaces
Daniel " Boone " Larsen, who retired in May, after a
40-year career in the equipment industry, the past
11 years with Felling.
Lindmeyer brings over 25 years of experience in
the truck and trailer industry, both recreational and
commercial/municipal, with a strong emphasis on
sales and customer service. *
