perspectives superyachts by zaha hadid inspiration IN MEMORIAM 1950-2016 Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid's sudden passing on March 31st shocked the design world, but her memory lives on in her visionary work, notably her line of superyachts for German shipbuilder Blohm+Voss. The 400-foot Mothership's exterior is an interwoven network of dynamic meshes informed by the fluid dynamics of underwater ecosystems. That same concept is applied to the nearly 300-foot Jazz iteration, the first of five Unique Circle Yachts that has been technically specified with refinements that address the particular requirements for ocean crossings.
