finalist casual restaurant Boqueria New York For Spanish tapas bar and restaurant Boqueria's 3,500-square-foot West 40th Street location in Manhattan, locally based Studio Razavi Architecture chose a simple material palette, including blackened steel and cement floor tiles, as well as custom lighting that delineates seating areas. Layers of wood slats create a dramatic skinlike membrane across the ceiling, walls, and shelves, creating a fortress from the bustling streets of Times Square outside.
