John's recent interactive installation
Point of Action invited people to
engage at a distance thanks to
a series of metal " spotlights " in
Manhattan's Flatiron District that
satisfied city dwellers deprived of
human interaction amid COVID-19.

A 2019 Platinum Circle honoree,
Carlos Couturier cofounded
Grupo Habita to create projects
driven by architecture, art, and
authenticity. Along with partners
Moisés Micha and Rafael Micha,
Couturier's dedication to stylish
modernism has been evident since
the inaugural Hotel Habita in
Mexico City in 2000, and the brand
has since solidified a reputation as
an authority in boutique properties.
The group returned to its hometown
last year with Círculo Mexicano,
featured on page 040.

Galperin's latest project, the
Brooklyn store for brand Shen
Beauty, on page 009, further
demonstrates a deep understanding
of the firm's clients with a warm,
inviting aesthetic.
