Windows in the exercise/therapy room bring in abundant natural light and provide views to the street. 3. Exam room walls were kept low to expose the height of the existing roof structure in the patient hallways. The floating blue soffit crosses the hallway in the distance. 4. Existing steel sash windows were used to bring more natural light into the space, including the private doctor offices. 5. An ADA accessible entry ramp leads to the reception and waiting room. 6. A screen wall adjacent to the reception desk provides a buffer between the waiting room and the pharmacy. 7. Skylights and the original wood roof structure were exposed in the design. 6 7 www.healthcaredesignmagazine.com 10.13 39http://www.healthcaredesignmagazine.com
