The University of Virginia Health System in
Charlottesville, Va., recently broke ground on
a 520,000-square-foot project, designed by
Perkins+Will. The hospital expansion and renovation, expected to be completed in 2019, will
add a six-story patient tower, four operating
rooms, and 12 interventional procedure rooms,
and increase the capacity of the emergency department.
