* As patient rooms get
bigger and technology
continues to evolve
quickly, a patient
engagement table with
the ability to change
out technology is
definitely needed.This
model is aesthetically
pleasing, and creates
a better solution for
something that is
already in the room
and doesn't add
another piece of
clutter.
* I have had a number
of clients ask for an
overbed table that
integrated an iPad
or tablet device with
charging. This is the
first product to achieve
this goal (that I am
aware of). This table
with a large iPad and a
wireless headset could
allow patients to watch
a video/TV/Skype
without bothering
others and without
the need to hold the
device which has
been an issue in the
past. I see this having
applications in many
areas including EDs
and inpatient units.
* Just what we've been
looking for! Especially
appreciate the ports
for charging. Would
love to see more on
the storage accessory,
as patients are always
in need of bedside
storage within easy
reach.

The GCX Patient Engagement Table is the
industry's first medical-grade, over-bed table with integrated tablet mount. The Patient
Engagement Table places a tablet or other electronic devices in easy-to-use positions for
patients in bed or in a chair.
The GCX Patient Engagement Table helps involve patients in their own care and
comfort. With the right app installed on a tablet, patients and visitors can learn about
their course of care, stay connected to family and their care team, and even control their
hospital room's lighting and climate-improving the individual patient experience,
as well as relieving some of the workload for busy nurses. Pediatric patients can use
tablets loaded with educational and entertainment apps that they can easily access
from their beds. 
The adjustable height design of the Patient Engagement
Table can be raised or lowered via easy-to-use hand
controls to an optimal height and the low-profile,
U-shaped base allows for suitable bed clearance
and ease of movement. The structure of the Patient
Engagement Table keeps cables out of the way, making
it easier for care providers to attend to
their patients. The over-bed table also has
a variety of accessories to meet the needs
of today's medical environments, as
well as bed-ridden or mobility-impaired
patients.
