It's easy to see why a company should exhibit at
HCD Expo, but doing it effectively takes some

I GET ASKED this question all the time: "Why should

my company exhibit at HCD Expo?" The fact is, if
having in-person, one-on-one time with key stakeholders involved in the planning, design, and construction of healthcare projects is important for
your business, then why wouldn't you?
The Healthcare Design Expo & Conference provides manufacturers and service providers with the
kind of quality interaction and connection opportunities that could take their sales representatives
years to develop on their own. While like any other
form of marketing, there are costs associated with participating, the benefits
you stand to gain in three short days make it a worthwhile endeavor.
Still on the fence? We don't just sell you exhibit space and walk away saying "good luck." We also offer participating companies dozens of marketing
tools designed to help you better reach the thousands of prospects you may
encounter at the show and help you maximize your return on investment.
Here are a few tips for having a successful HCD Expo.
* Establish goals. What is your company looking to get out of the show?
* Do your own advance research to determine what the HCD audience is really
looking for.
* Create a booth that clearly tells attendees who you are and what you do, and
make sure it will get attendees' attention as they walk by.
* Remember to use pre-show promotions to invite your customers and
pre-registered attendees to visit your booth. Customers and prospects are
significantly more likely to visit your booth if you simply ask them to do so.
* Prepare your staff members who are attending the show. Does the on-site
team understand your goals and objectives? Do you have a plan in place that
the whole team is aware of and ready to execute?
* Have a plan for lead capture. Figure out how you'll know who stopped in your
booth and how you'll follow up with them after the show.
* Don't forget social media. Use HCD Expo's social media channels to promote
your company.
* Finally, remember to network, network, network. Your staff should be engaging with every attendee who walks by your booth.
One last tip ... follow up. This is a big one. Statistics from attendees indicate
that 80 percent are never contacted after the show. Finally, if you need help
with any of the above items, be sure to reach out to our team.
The floor plan for our 2019 HCD Expo in New Orleans (Nov. 2-5) still has
some great spaces available, so I encourage you to contact us and we'll help
you secure your space. Then, it's time to start preparing.
