THE HEALTH AND safety of each member of our community and our team are vitally important to us.
After closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic
and consulting our industry partners and supporters, the team behind the Healthcare Design Expo &
Conference decided to cancel the event scheduled
for Nov. 7-10 in Nashville.
And while we're saddened that we couldn't bring
everyone together this fall, as we know how much
everyone looks forward to seeing and learning
from one another, we believe this was the right decision to make for the health and wellness of us all. This is due to the ongoing
progression of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., including the latest government data and guidelines on the phased reopening plans across the nation; current restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by
states and other government and public health authorities; and the various
company-imposed travel restrictions on employees, affecting attendees and
participating companies.
These developments have made it impossible to effectively execute a
November event that delivers the level of education, connection, and customer value our industry expects. Driven by our responsibility to ensure the
best interests of our healthcare design community, we've decided to take the
conference virtual Nov. 9-12. Though it will be smaller in scale than the live
event, our virtual event will still offer more than 20 CEU-accredited sessions

The COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented, and it's very concerning for
everyone, but it's especially challenging for our healthcare communities. We
know how busy many of you are on the front lines of this crisis, and we thank
you and support you in that work. We're optimistic that in time, we'll be able
to bring our industry together again to support one another, share what
we've learned, and recover after this difficult time in everyone's lives, personally and professionally.
We appreciate your ongoing loyalty to Healthcare Design and thank you
in advance for your understanding. Our thoughts are with all of you and we
look forward to connecting virtually in November. And stay tuned: The 2021
Healthcare Design Expo & Conference is scheduled for Oct. 23-26, 2021, in
Cleveland.
