Henry Schein Cares is once again working with the Children’s Dental Health Project (CDHP) and Oral Health America’s (OHA) Wisdom Tooth Project to provide wellness programs to toddlers as well as older adults. Through our 2011 Healthy Lifestyles, Healthy Communities Program last year, we were able to donate over $44,000 to support these two organizations. The Children’s Dental Health Project designs and advances research-driven policies and solutions by engaging a broad base of partners committed to children and oral health, including professionals, communities, policymakers and parents.They work to eliminate barriers to prevent tooth decay and ensure that all children reach their full potential. The Oral Health America Wisdom Tooth Project® changes the lives of older adults especially vulnerable to oral disease. Through this program, OHA is pioneering an effort to connect, educate, and advocate for the oral health of all older Americans, especially those most vulnerable. In an effort to support these activities, we are once again offering to donate proceeds from the products featured on these two pages, to the Henry Schein Cares Foundation. The Foundation will use this funding to assist CDHP and OHA in working toward alleviating the disparities in oral care services for our children and older adults.
