150 Watt, 8 Channel Mixer Power Amplifier from Bogen
Lear Siegler's Bogen Division has announced its newest TechcrafT professional model, the TCA-150 Mixer/Power Amplifier. It has
over 100 dB of gain and delivers 150 watts (rms) continuous power
output at less than 1% total harmonic distortion from 45 to 12,000 Hz.
The TCA-150 features active mixing for nearly zero interaction
between input controls, minimal residual mixing-bus noise and constant preamplifier gain as input channels are added. It provides eight
input channels, each with its own slide level control and continuousaction 0-30 dB input attenuator for all microphone inputs. A linearaction master gain control adjusts the output level of all channels
simultaneously.
Four inputs are equipped with high-quality transformers for lowimpedance balanced microphones. One is convertible to a 600 ohm
balanced line. Two of the four auxiliary inputs convert to low impedance microphone or magnetic phono with the addition of a TCM-230,
Bogen's Tech-crafT Dual Channel Preamplifier module.
T he solid state TCA-150 incorporates integrated circuits and silicon transistors. Frequency response in ┬▒ 1 dB from 20 to 20,000 Hz
and equivalent input hum and. noise is -128 dBm. Bass and treble
controls, a 3W' VU meter with a switch to select any of four ranges, a
700 Hz test tone generator built into channel #1, and input/output link
for equalization and full protection against adverse overloads, all are
built into the TCA-150.

Three New Products from Ekedahl Tool & Supply Co.

Ekedahl Tool also has announced the ideal material for making
your own gobos. High quality steel in ┬Ěconvenient 6" X 100" rolls
comes in a variety of thicknesses to be cut with matte knife, Xacto
knife, miniature grinder, or etched in an acid solution. This precision
steel product holds up longer than aluminum pie plates, and there is
no waste in its roll dispenser box.
In addition Ekedahl Tool is now carrying Locktite's new Electrotech
line featuring Tak Pak. Tak Pak is a self contained system for bonding
of electronic assemblies. It is an adhesive which offers great reliability
over other types of bonds, and is an advancement over the thinviscosity cyano-acrylate adhesives which cannot cling to wires and
can migrate into pin connector areas affecting soldering operations.
Applications are for tacking wires between solder connections on
PC boards; holding end wires in place on wound coils; termination of
wires; bread board construction; strain relief of soldered connections; securing terminal strips, components and indicator lights;
IC chip construction; circuit patching; and multiple strand tacking.
The Tak Pak system is packaged with a 3 oz bottle of accelerator
and a 20 ml container of adhesive.

Rainbo's New Lighting Control Board
A new and truly versatile dimmer control board is now available
from Rainbo Products. Portable and durable to meet the requirements of touring use, the Rainbo console offers the opportunity to
custom order a board to include as many options as necessary, to
suit the needs of your design and budget.
Standard features include: dual independent power supplies, master and independent faders and blackout switch, mUltiple scenes with
12 to 72 individual control channels. 60 mm sliders, three submasters
(A,B,C) each scene, LED. indicators, adjustable output range-minimum 0-5 Volts, maximum 5-25 volts. The console is housed in a
rosewood formica case and has a black anodized front panel. Modules are plug in for easy repair and maintenance.
Optional features include: individual scene masters, split dipless
cross fader with switchable scene assignment, touch sensitive
"bump" buttons, 12 to 60 presets scene masters with pin matrix,
variable intensity dimable gooseneck work lights, digital clock and

Ekedahl Tool and Supply Company has announced Protect-ADeck and Protect-A-Deck II. These are adhesive backed papers and
are available in 36' and 48' by 100 yard rolls. They are ideal for
covering stage or studio floors or walls prior to painting. Both Protect-A-Deck products exhibit high release and low tack so that they
can be easily removed without damaging substrate or leaving an
adhesive residue. They can take latex, casein or copolymer paints
with minimal wrinkling.
Protect-A-Deck is a white 3.3 mil paintable rubber fibrous paper
coated with a special formulated latex pressure sensitive adhesive
giving it a total thickness of 4.3 mils. Protect-A-Deck II is similar to
Protect-A-Deck except that it uses a premium grade paper and has
an overall thickness of 6.5 mils.
Since both Protect-A-Deck and Protect-A-Deck II are easy to apply, and easy to remove they can replace messy peal pastes or heavy
ground cloths. They are especially suitable for use in the television
studio where the integrity of the original floor must be maintained, yet
