Mark the hole pattern using the base of the cleat. Mount the tee nuts on the bottom side of the plywood base (Figure 3). 5. Prime and paint the plywood base. Paint the bottom black and the top and sides orange or yellow. 6. Mount the cleat to the plywood with the flat head machine screws. Use a thread locker, if you like (Figure 4). 7. Hang stuff under your catwalk (Figure 5).
