UNF Hosts Annual
Case Competition
The University of North Florida's 9th
Annual Case Competition, sponsored by
IANA, was held April 6-8 in Jacksonville,
Florida. Students from leading supply chain,
logistics and transportation programs
came together to apply their classroom
knowledge to real-world intermodal
problems. This year's challenge, "An
Intermodal Detective Case," involved an
analysis of large datasets to identify trends
in global trade.
Participating universities included IANA
Scholarship schools: Georgia Southern
University, the University of Maryland,
the University of North Florida and the
University of North Texas.
The competition was made possible
through IANA's Scholarship Award Program,
which since 2006, has provided more
than $1.8 million to support students in
university programs focused on intermodal
