Going Paperless
With the reduction of in-person business transactions and
pressure to move online, there's a need to provide consumers
and brokers the choice of electronic access to insurance
documentation. Our Going Paperless initiative was created
to understand and meet consumer preferences for digital
delivery of insurance documents. The initiative is being
carried out in partnership with brokers, leading insurance
companies, technology vendors and industry partners to
create a series of guidelines to ensure consumer preferences
and industry alignment are established.
Guidelines
* Consumer Digital Charter - an outline of
what's needed by consumers as the industry moves
to paperless insurance delivery and service
* Vendor Digital Charter-providing clear
guidance to vendors on paperless servicing needs
* Modernizing Electronic Document
Download-a guide to eDoc exchange and
process automation for maximum efficiency and
optimization
Consumer Survey
Distributed a consumer survey to IBAO Member
Brokerage clients to learn more about their
preferences. To date it's garnered 8,000+
responses. The survey's been distributed
nationally through brokerages across the
country.
