Activities in Singapore
T
he IEEE Circuits and Systems Singapore Chapter
was established to promote advancement of the
field in Singapore and internationally, with diverse
membership from both industries and academia. With
more than 100 CAS members in Singapore, the committee
consisting of 8 members and 8 co-opt members are
typically rotated every 2 years and holds 4 administrative
meetings a year. This ensures multiplicity in our
ideas and direction for the chapter in addition to obtaining
frequent feedback on our activities. The Chapter

regularly promotes membership and organizes events
in Singapore, with the goal of fostering close cooperation
and the exchange of technical information amongst
our members.
1. Technical Activities
We organize numerous technical seminars, workshops,
and outreach events, as well as invite distinguished
lecturers for talks every year to attract new members.
Students, faculty staff and researchers in the academia
and industry regularly sign up and attend this
array of activities. We are also active in organizing
international IEEE conferences, including DSP 2015
in Singapore, DSP 2018 in Shanghai, SOCC 2019 and
ISICAS 2021 in Singapore.
