utilization for the Dew node is higher than the
edge node, which reaches up to 25.7%. As the broker
presents in the dew node, forward more data
and performs more publish and subscribe operation
through the stationary ground sensor nodes.
DISCUSSION
We observed 91%of DP within 150MB of buffer
size in the Dew-enabled UAV ecosystem. The
research also investigates the reason for
increased latency with the increment of the dew
buffer. The maximum average end-to-end latency,
in this case, is reported for dew buffer in case of
opportunistic flooding is up to 720.38 ms. High
latency in such case is a performance overhead of
dew node. Further, the resource utilization of various
edge and dew nodes is analyzed, which manifests
the optimal use of the CPUandmemory.
CONCLUSION
In this work, we developed dew-enabled reliable
Internet of drone ecosystem. The message
delivery latency under a low-latency opportunistic
infrastructure has been made and analyzed
with standard flooding, forwarding approach,
and enhanced MQTT framework. The proposed
framework of the dew ecosystem can cater to
the numerous mission-critical services, disaster
management, mobile crowed sensing.
