trends in actual underwater work,
i.e., cable laying, salvaging, mineral
resource exploration and surveying,
and oil spills and maritime accidents.
She reported that knowledge of the
exact location was a basic requirement for autonomous underwater robotic deployments.
The discussions during the events
contributed to a better understanding
of issues and opportunities for major
new approaches to the areas of smart
grids and underwater applications.
