Mathias Weske (mathias.weske@hpi.de) is a professor and chair of the Business Process Technology
research group at the Hasso Plattner Institute, Digital
Engineering Faculty, University of Potsdam, Germany. He
is a founding member of the steering committee (of
which he has been chair since September 2017) of the
International Conference on Business Process Management. He is on the editorial board of Computing. His
research interests include the engineering of processoriented information systems, process mining, and
event processing.
Liang Zhang (lzhang@fudan.edu.cn) is a full professor of computer science at Fudan University, China. His
