Angeles Manjarrés is a Lecturer with the
Department of Artificial Intelligence, UNED, Madrid,
Spain, the Spanish national distance-learning
university. Her research is focused on the field of
ontologies and educational recommender systems,
in e-learning and educational robotics.
Ms. Manjarrés has participated in national,
European, and international research projects, and in
educational innovation projects integrating servicelearning methodology into artificial intelligence

Miguel A. Artaso received the research M.Sc.
degree in artificial intelligence from UNED, where he
is currently studying the Ph.D. degree in evaluating
the quality of life of cochlear implant users.
He is a Senior Data Science Engineer with Cochlear,
Basel, Switzerland, where he researches the use
of artificial intelligence to aid the fitting of cochlear
implants.
Prof. Artaso is also a member of the Spanish
Interuniversitary Teaching Innovation Group miniXmodular.

Elizabeth D. Gibbons received the graduation
from Smith College, Northampton, MA, USA, and
Columbia University, New York, NY, USA.
She is currently a Senior Fellow with the FXB
Center for Health and Human Rights, Harvard T.H.
Chan School of Public Health, Boston, MA, USA,
where she participates in initiatives which leverage
her expertise in advancing the human rights of
children and adolescents. These have included the
development of a cross-disciplinary child protection
