AI for a Fair, Just, and Equitable World

This work explored how PT, which tries to influence the people's behavior or attitudes for their
own goals without coercion, can be used in the
domain of mental health, which is part of the SDGs,
to increase equality to mental health care access as
well as equality, in general. The work, which further
focuses on SAD, examines why mental health is a
considerable barrier to equality and why people
with mental health issues have problems accessing
health care. It then lays its argument for using technology in this domain. Afterward, it presents PT in its
multi- and interdisciplinary composition of behavioral sciences and computer science. Various settings
and platforms are presented, including their efficacy
for relief of symptoms of SAD. Finally, it explores
the potential benefits such technology offers in the
field of mental health in relation to equality as well
as possible risks that it might pose. Future work in
this research includes exploring the potential benefits and risks further, elaborating on them, and offering new directions, conceptual as well as technical,
for PT in mental health for reducing inequalities in
access and, in general, especially by seeing the technology complementary to the health care system

as a whole.
