sublimation
makes it easy
to produce
signage that
is instructional
and informative.

Cross-selling with signage
Sublimation applications transcend signs, so you simultaneously can generate more revenue from every
customer and reach new markets.
Suppose a customer only comes to you for one sign. This person probably needs other things - promotional products, awards, apparel, etc. - but wants to source them from a competitor. Instead of missing
out on additional sales, you can ask a few probing questions while showing samples of related items,
such as a photo plaque to recognize a top-producing salesman or an iPhone cover with a corporate logo.
Suddenly, you open the door to a larger sale.
This technique, called cross-selling, is a major benefit of sublimation due to the wide assortment of
substrates available to decorators. Cross-selling lets you instantly tap into your existing customer base
using sublimation as a tool to squeeze more money from each job, as you can offer an assortment of
complementary products simply because you can.

Associated Costs
Sublimation equipment costs are quite low,
starting at about $650 for a desktop sublimation printer with a maximum media size of
8.5" x 14" and ink. Larger desktop units are
available, such as theVirtuoso SG800, which
has a maximum media size of 13" x 19".
Roll-feed models are ideal for larger signage products. Such a printer can be paired
with a calendar press to produce rolls of
sublimated fabric to be used for banners,
backdrops and interior panels. It can just as
easily deliver large-dimension hard products
when paired with a large-area heat press.
When reproducing high-definition
photos and graphics, an eight-color printer
can deliver more intense colorization than a
four-color model.With an eight-color configuration, you always will have the CMYK
base colors and four additional colors that
were created for specific situations such as
photography or fluorescents.
Interior-signage sublimation can add a
new dimension to any decoration business,
and it even can function as a standalone
business.Very few decoration techniques
have so much to offer in terms of versatility and sales opportunities. So if you want
to generate more dollars with less effort,
sublimation may be the answer. 
