What differentiates your company in the marketplace?

Brother has over 110 years in the garment industry and understands
the construction of garments - specifically that they are not always
flat where customers want designs printed. Seams, buttons, zippers,
pockets and other features can make printing on garments a challenge
compared to printing on a piece of paper. In 2005, Brother launched
their first direct-to-garment printer, the GT-541, with a large print
head-to-substrate gap that allowed for printing over these items
easily. Since then, Brother DTG users have expanded their print
substrates to items such as shoes, caps, bags, and more as well as the
ability to print in non-traditional print locations instead of just the
front center of a t-shirt.

What else should we know about your company?

Brother has a reputation to working with other industry leaders to
create the best possible package for its customers. For example, Brother
and Hotronix worked together to create the MAXX 2G+ manual
heat press - which allows for quickly changing from heavy pressure
for curing pretreat fluid to light pressure for curing dtg ink. Brother
also collaborated with Schulze to help design the PretreatMAKER
IV automatic pretreatment machine. This electric pretreater has a
four-nozzle spray system that is controlled by a touchscreen control
panel that has built-in maintenance instructions.

designed to help increase the energy efficiency of our operations,
reduce waste and protect the environment in communities where we
work. One example is how Brother works with its DTG customers
to recycle their empty ink cartridges at no charge to the customer.
