Goes Eco-Friendly
CANVAS BAGS MILL, Dallas, now offers a new line of ecofriendly canvas bags.
One of the new items is a 12-ounce, 100% recycled cotton bag
(style QR800) with 23-inch self-color handles. Recycled cotton doesn't
use any new water, land, fertilizers or other resources for growth,
according to the company.
Other new styles include TBOG, TBGOG and TB6OG - totes
that are made from 7-ounce organic cotton. The cotton is grown in
a way that uses methods and materials that lessen the impact on the
environment, according to the company. Additionally, no pesticides,
insecticides, herbicides and genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
were used. The bags can be customized with imprints, logos and names.

SPORTSMAN CAP & BAG, Lenexa, Kansas, recently launched a digital catalog featuring more
than 3,000 SKUs with new styles, patterns and colors. Products include the speckled knit
with a pom-pom on top (style SP70), a quilted two-tone (style SP960) and a structured,
six-panel floral cap (style SP820). New bag styles include the Champion fanny pack (style
CS3004), and a classic hip bag (style PSC1043) and crossover bag (style PSC1044), both
from Puma. In addition to caps and bags, the company also offers 11 towel and apron styles
in various sizes and colors, including a beach towel with a one-side velour and one-side
terry construction (style QV3060) and Q-Tees apron (style Q4010).
AUGUSTA SPORTSWEAR, Augusta, Georgia, recently announced the
launch of its sublimation design platform, FreeStyle Sublimation,
which features a sophisticated, yet simple interface, according
to the company. Users can design custom apparel via desktop or
mobile devices across all four brands - Augusta Sportswear,
Holloway, High Five and Russell Athletic - starting in January.
The FreeStyle Sublimation mobile interface also gives users a
bold, three-dimensional, 360-degree garment view with more than
1,000 design options. Whether on a desktop, tablet or mobile
device, the sublimation-design process requires a few simple
steps, allowing users to go back and forth and make changes while
saving and sharing at any time.
OrderMyGear, Dallas, recently announced the launch of its newest
Live Inventory feed built from partnerships with the biggest
brands in the industry. Businesses using OrderMyGear for online
stores now can see direct inventory feeds from brands like Under
Armour, adidas, Augusta Sportwear Brands, SanMar and Founder
Sport Group. OrderMyGear expects the feed to increase the volume
of product sold through the platform while reducing the amount
of backorder problems that occur in the ordering and fulfillment
process, according to the company.
