board while traveling to Jaipur.
Begin tour at Jantar Mantar,
the Royal Observatory; then
continue to Amber Fort. See
its royal apartments, Chamber
of Mirrors and Hall of Victory.
Time for shopping. Evening

Day 4: Bikaner
Enjoy the desert scenery over
breakfast. Arrive medieval city
of Bikaner, once a major center
in the cross-desert caravan
trade. Morning at leisure on the
train. Or choose an optional
tour to Lalgarh Palace or Karni
Mata Temple in Deshnok,
where rats are worshipped.
After lunch, proceed to moated
Junagarh Fort, built in 1593.
The impressive Fort Museum is
adorned with lavish costumes
and jewelry. This afternoon,
experience the royal pageantry

as a convoy of decorated camel
carts lead you through a rural
village to the sand dunes. Sip
"sundowner" cocktails, and
savor traditional barbecued
delicacies, accompanied by
local folk music and dance.

Fort, with its intricate latticed
windows and elaborately carved
panels. This evening, savor
dinner in an exclusive venue
with cultural performance.

Day 7: Balasinor
Arrive Balasinor and transfer
to Dinosaur Fossil Park, one
of the largest in the world.
Local village visit followed by
exclusive lunch with a royal
family to relish their unique
cuisine. Return to the train for a
festive farewell evening.

Day 6: Udaipur
Udaipur is an enchanting image
of white marble palaces, placid
lakes and green hills. Visit the
