collaborate, share knowledge and resources and better impact the sanitation marketplace.
Duravit has updated its professional site - pro.duravit.us - with a new set
of practical, streamlined features for designers and speciﬁers. In addition
to saving products of interest into custom folders, users may now upload
project images and create their own directories to store product data.
Folders can be shared, and a drag-and-drop function allows users to
seamlessly move products into categorized folders.

Caesarstone has been featured in the 2014 award-winning Santa Fe
show home, "Casa Carolina." The show home, conceived by AIA architect
Jim Satzinger, uses the company's misty Carrera honed quartz in the
kitchen and oyster quartz in the master bath. Casa Carolina was designed
with ecological friendliness in mind and has received the Build Green New
Mexico "Emerald" rating, which is the highest possible award for energy
efﬁciency and sustainability. It was also recognized during last summer's
Parade of Homes as having the best energy efﬁciency of the lot.

Broan-Nu-Tone recently announced
the grand-prize winner of its secondannual ULTRA Pro Challenge at IBS in
Las Vegas. Joseph Lareau set a new
record, installing the ULTRA Pro Ventilation Fan in two minutes and 21 seconds. He went head-to-head with his
brother, Mark Lareau, beating him by
one second. Last April, the company launched the 2014 ULTRA Pro Challenge, a 112-stop nationwide tour to identify the contractor with the fastest
ULTRA Pro installation time. The fastest installer from each location received
a $500 Cabela's gift card, and the fastest installer from each of the eight
regions won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to IBS to compete for the
grand prize, a 2015 Ford F150.
Global sanitation expert Dr. Jim McHale of
American Standard Brands recently spoke at
the 14th-annual World Toilet Summit in New Delhi, India. He participated in a panel discussion
on the topic of affordable sanitation solutions
and infrastructure and shared insights gained
from his company's research and development
of the low-cost SaTo hygienic toilet pan that
helps prevent the transmission of disease from

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company has appointed Robert
Foote (far left) to executive vice
president. He has more than 26
years of management experience in supply chain management, procurement, operations,
information technology and ﬁnance. The company has also appointed Jeff Meehan to its sales management team. He will be responsible for direct sales and for leading the
contractor sales division.
Coyote Outdoor Living and Cosentino's Dekton ultra-compact surface
recently announced a partnership to further enhance both companies'
outdoor living offerings. As part of the partnership, Coyote Outdoor Living's
products have been installed in a number of Cosentino centers across
the country, as well as the Dekton mobile showroom that travels around
the U.S. This year, Coyote will be featured in outdoor kitchen displays in an
additional 10 new Cosentino centers scheduled to open, which provide
architects, designers, fabricators, distributors and consumers a state-ofthe-art, interactive showroom and warehouse to enhance the kitchen
and bath design experience.
The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) has announced that
Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Ill., has met all requirements to continue
as an NKBA-accredited program provider of its Certiﬁcate in Kitchen and
Bath Design.
Tile of Spain has announced the
four winners of the 2015 Passport to
Creativity contest. The design professionals selected to participate in
a seven-day architectural tour and
trip to Spain are Jonathan Martinez, senior designer, Antrobus +
Ramirez; Gloria Graham Sollecito,
AKBD; Brendan Donovan, Furniture
& Cabinet Co. and author of Design Blog, Kitchens for Living; Daniel
Cantwell, registered architect, owner, DHC Design; and Jason Money,
AIA, LEED Associate, BarlisWedlick Architects. To enter the contest, architects and designers had to submit a photo of themselves with a Spanish
tile in their own imaginative and creative way.
