Darren Talbert and his family were faced with the need to remodel their existing house to make it more accessible when he was confined to a wheelchair after a botched surgery. Although many thought he should buy a brand new house to accommodate the growing, ever-changing needs he and his family would have to face, he was adamant that he wanted to continue calling his existing house "home."
