Walker Zanger's
New Digs

WALKER ZANGER HAS OPENED A
NEW 127,000-SQ.-FT. global head-

quarters in Los Angeles, which
features ofﬁces, a showroom, a
working photo studio and an indoor slab gallery. Working with
LA-based design ﬁrm SRK Architects, Walker Zanger transformed
a traditional, industrial "tilt-up"
building into a highly integrated,
two-level facility that is bright,
spacious and eco-friendly. It features LED lighting and skylights,
electric car-charging ports, bicycle storage and drought-tolerant
landscaping. The 91,000-sq.-ft.
indoor warehouse includes a slab
gallery, a 523-ft. indoor crane and
a wire-guided order-picking system that allows more room for

Design Wins Double
ELEGANT INTERIOR DESIGNS, A COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL DESIGN FIRM in

Ambler, Pa., has won the Contractor of
the Year Meritorious Award for Kitchen Design/Remodel from the Bucks-Montgomery Chapter of the National Association
of Remodeling Industry (NARI). Pamela
Kofsky, president of the design ﬁrm, was
recognized for a kitchen renovation in the
budget category of $100,001-$150,000,
and the same project also earned her a
Green Project Recognition from NARI. The
project features energy-efﬁcient appliances, LED lighting and natural materials for
the cabinets, countertops, ﬂoors and sink.
