" The Ho.MI New York Lifestyles Pavilion also returns during its second
appearance at ICFF. It will bring more than 100 top Italian designers and brands,
and Ho.MI Milano will play host to an expanded footprint of 12,000 net square
feet. The pavilion will explore Italian style in furniture, lighting, wall coverings,
carpets, flooring, kitchen and bath, accessories and more from more than 50 Italian
brands, including Alessi, Michelangelo Design, Domus Design Collection and
Ego Italiano.
The expanded footprint will also include the Italian Luxury Interiors project.
Organized in partnership with Artex - the Center for Artistic Craftsmanship and
Tradition of Tuscany, ICE, Confartigianato Imprese and CAN, the space recreates
the spirit and style of Italian interiors.
" The Milk Stand by Design Milk is back with an expanded presence featuring
a variety of emerging artists and designers from across the U.S. Included in the
pavilion, Designers & Books will present the hot list of new design book releases,
as well as book signings and "meet the author" days.
" The ICFF Global Emerging Designers program will bring together undiscovered industry talent from more than 20 countries, including France, Japan, Brazil,
Italy, Portugal, Austria, the Philippines and Spain.
" The best of the best exhibiting at design fairs from around the world will be
featured in a Best of Design Week Pavilion, including exhibitors from Tokyo
Design Week and Barcelona Design Week.

Rewarding Awards
" Each year, ICFF convenes top industry journalists
and editors, inviting them to scout and select the "best
of the best" in a variety of categories. The ICFF Editors'
Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016,
at 5 p.m. at the ICFF Talks space on Level 3.
" New this year, Interior Design magazine and ICFF
will present the first-annual NYCxDESIGN Awards. It
is an open and inclusive program celebrating the outstanding achievement across major areas of design - from
architecture to interiors, products to collectibles and craft
to technology. The program will pull together and reward
excellence in design achievement from the more than 500
events that comprise New York City's showcase of global
design. Winners will be announced on May 14 from 6 to 7
p.m. at the MoMA.
