SOCI HAS OPENED ITS NEW CUSTOM-DESIGNED,
1,136-SQ.-FT. SHOWROOM in Allen, Texas, to

provide designers and customers the tools
to design, view and shop the brand's tile and
plumbing products. The new space features
custom tilework with Soci's porcelain, ceramic
and natural stone products, concept boards
and panels throughout the space. This showroom effect continues in the bathrooms, featuring the brand's tile, sinks and faucets for a
custom look. The showroom is connected to
Soci's new 4,666-sq.-ft. corporate ofﬁce for
the company's growing staff.

WALKER ZANGER RECENTLY ANNOUNCED
THAT AYBAR ASCI, president and found-

er of Efﬁciency Lab for Architecture, is
the winner of the inaugural Kaza Design Competition. His original Liquid
Forms is a contemporary design that
"takes advantage of the plasticity of
concrete," according to Jared Becker,
Walker Zanger vice president of design
and marketing. Liquid Forms features
an elegant, simple, rectangular shape
with asymmetric surface articulation to
create a variety of tiling patterns. It will
be manufactured by Kaza Concrete for
the company's Kaza collection in three
colorways, including a metallic.

parent company of Castlewood, has acquired the
former Babcock Lumber manufacturing facility in
Haleyville, Ala., which consists of 140,000 square
feet on 50 acres.The primary building includes eight
shipping bays, two dry kilns, an integrated dust
collection system, offices, a showroom, a QC lab and
manufacturing and warehouse space. This location
will serve as AMS' corporate offices and will allow
room for the company to expand its operations.
