This year's keynote is titled "The Internet of Intelligent Things," and is being presented by Dave Evans, co-founder
and CTO of Stringify, a Silicon Valley Internet of Things (IoT) start up. He will give a proactive presentation on the
next phase of IoT, which will focus on adding intelligence to connected things, and share his expertise on emerging
technologies, as well as insights on how IoT will open up vast new opportunities for technology integrators.
KBB spoke to Evans to get some more detail as to what's in store during his keynote speech.

Although many understand what IoT is (billions of everyday
things connecting to the Internet), it's not always clear what the
value is, the opportunity or where it is going. The IoT clearly
has tremendous potential. It will shape how we provide medical
care; how we grow our food; and how we manage our energy,
homes, cities and countries. I'm not going to delve into the bits
and bytes of protocols or standards, etc., but instead focus on
why this is the biggest opportunity we've ever had by sharing
thought-provoking ideas that will impact your business.

The world is changing in a big way - everything
is being connected. Those individuals and companies that understand this tectonic shift will
be better prepared to capitalize on it and have a
competent advantage. The CEDIA keynote will
provide a provocative look into the future of the
IoT, the forces shaping it and the incredible opportunities that are on the horizon.
