hat better way to kick off the New Year than to
welcome you to the 2018 edition of the Kitchen
and Bath Industry Show and the fifth year of
Design and Construction Week®!
This year at KBIS, take a moment to immerse
yourself in everything in kitchen and bath design.
You will see new products from top and emerging
brands, learn about the latest trends, sharpen your
professional skills and hopefully have a little fun as well.There are countless
opportunities to meet with vendors, reconnect with old friends and further
expand your professional network. There is simply no better platform for
you, as a design professional, in the kitchen and bath space.
With so much happening at the show this year, I thought I would share
some of what I am excited to see in Orlando.

the South Hall, the Talks Lounge has three full days of
dynamic content and conversation on social/digital
media, design trends and the business of design.
"Discovery District - A critical part of attending KBIS
is discovering new and innovative companies and
their products. Located in the South Hall, the Discovery District is the destination for exploring unique
and potentially undiscovered brands and products
"Impact of Design, Powered by ASID - Located in
the South Hall, this pavilion will invite attendees to
interact and learn from exhibitors that are committed to manufacturing and supplying products that
provide a demonstrated impact on human health,
wellness and environmental sustainability
"CEDIA Smart Home Pavilion - Located in the West
Hall, this will feature exhibitors that specialize in
technology solutions for the connected home.

In addition to all the rich content at the show,
our industry association - the National Kitchen
and Bath Association (NKBA) - has continued to
innovate, offering the kitchen and bath industry
professional unprecedented resources. Most recently, the NKBA has relaunched its website with
a mobile-first platform designed to make critical
connections among designers, dealers, manufactures and - of course - consumers. I encourage

KBIS 2018 will continue to expand on many
of the interactive and engaging features from the
event last January. We have developed this experience based on feedback from you, the industry
