1. Available in 30- and 36-in. models, the MONOGRAM
Gas Cooktop boasts a Wi-Fi feature that enables
owners to set timers from smart devices, while
Bluetooth establishes a connection between the
cooktop and the hood for more efficient venting. The
36-in. model also includes an LED timer, which is
uncommon among gas cooktops.
2. The ELECTROLUX Single Wall Oven includes Air
Sous Vide, which uses precisely controlled low temperatures and airflow around vacuum-sealed ingredients
to lock in flavor. IQ-Touch controls display all the cooking modes at the touch of a button, and the Perfect
Taste Temp Probe automatically adjusts temperature to
the Keep Warm setting when a meal is complete.
3. A new line of designer activation buttons by
INSINKERATOR, including one that is illuminated, will
signal the user that their food waste disposer is running. A blue light indicates that the disposer is on, while
a flashing red light signals a disposer malfunction.
4. Through the KENMORE Smart app, the Kenmore
Elite French Door Bottom-Freezer Smart Refrigerator
enables users to remotely adjust refrigerator and freezer temperatures, icemaker energy savings, vacation
mode settings and power and speed of air filtration. It
also has the ability to calculate energy consumption to
help drive and inform energy-saving behavior.
5. Now available in 84-in.-tall columns, PERLICK's
24-in.-wide Column Wine Reserve features innovative
technology to perfectly store, preserve and serve
a wine collection. Advanced technology monitors
humidity levels in the reserve and can push additional
moisture into the compartment if necessary, and
natural carbon filtration maintains optimal air quality
by absorbing damaging odors.
6. With the new Dialogue System by FALMEC, it's possible to control the various functions of the hood directly
from the induction hob, where a touch control is installed.
The dialogue between the hob and the hood occurs via
radio frequencies and does not require the installation
of further receiving devices into the hood. The system is
compatible with all Falmec hoods - such as Quantum,
shown here, which will be available in September 2018
- and is designed to be used with a remote control.
7. Now available with Home Connect, GAGGENAU's
Vario Refrigeration 400 Series allows the user to remotely
adjust temperature settings from a smart device. The
handle-less door is push-to-open, and the door's ice and
water dispenser automatically activates the light and touch
keys when approached thanks to a proximity sensor.
8. The new Low-Profile Microwave Hood Combination from WHIRLPOOL fits and vents like a hood,
while also saving square footage. This design fits in
the same space as an undercabinet hood but can
still cook all of the essentials with 1.1 cubic feet of
capacity and 1,000-watt cooking power. In addition,
the appliance can track the cooking progress of
food and automatically adjust cooking times.


