Spotlight on Exhibitors

KBIS 2019 will welcome many new and returning brands, including those expanding
on booth space and celebrating various milestones. KBB spoke exclusively to a
handful of them to get a sense of what they are hoping to accomplish at the show
and what they will be featuring in terms of new products and trends.

GE Appliances
GE Appliances has been a loyal KBIS exhibitor
for 25 years. According to Matt Jones, brand experience & design senior manager, the company
decided to expand its footprint this year so that
each of its brands could share distinctive ownership experiences. 
"My hope is that each attendee walks away with a
better understanding of each of our brand's identities,
what makes them unique and why they should have
confidence in specifying our products in their client's
homes," he said."Since KBIS is the industry's leading
show for kitchen design and appliances, it provides a
great opportunity for us to showcase new products
launching in the next year and share our brands with
an important kitchen design community."

At KBIS 2019, GE will feature its new Café
brand of appliances with customizable hardware
and new matte-white and matte-black finishes,
the Monogram Pizza Oven, Haier North America full-size appliances and a universally branded
kitchen hub and ventilation hood that puts technology in your line of sight and at your fingertips
while you cook.
"The show is always an energetic and exciting
time - not only for the attendees but for us as well,"
added Jones. "We love interacting with the designers, sharing our stories and receiving feedback
directly from the industry. We try to top ourselves
every year with how we bring our products to life
in a dynamic way, and this year is no exception."

Lamps Plus

This lighting company last exhibited at KBIS in 2016 and is returning for
2019 because of the company's incredible success at the first show. Lamps
Plus is looking forward to the opportunity to show its designs at what it refers
to as an unparalleled qualified interior design audience during Design and
Construction Week.®  
"Exhibiting at KBIS enables our Lamps Plus Pros team a unique in-person
opportunity to meet new trade members and showcase our manufactured
designs," said Ryan Matheson, sales account manager for Lamps Plus Pros.
"Our division is highly personalized, and our agents establish long-standing
relationships with trade customers for projects so it's important to make those
connections. Our presence at the show should reinforce that the Lamps Plus
Pros brand is the leading resource for lighting project sourcing and selection."

At KBIS 2019, Lamps Plus will feature a variety
of exclusive new lighting designs for chandeliers,
pendants,ceiling lights,ceiling fans and wall lighting.
"Meeting our existing and new members at
KBIS affirms our leadership commitment to
our clients in the home furnishings industry and
strengthens our relationships," added Matheson.
"We have invited our most senior account managers to come to KBIS to meet their clients, which
will give all our members the opportunity to meet
with us, view the latest designs and learn trends
and tips to make their clients' homes stand out."

Woodworks by Ted Todd
Woodworks by Ted Todd, U.K.-based makers
of fine antique, reclaimed and new wood floors,
makes its first appearance at KBIS this year. After
attending last year's exhibition as a visitor, Robert
Walsh, the company's owner and managing director, said the show's size and scope convinced him
it would be the perfect launchpad for his antique
and reclaimed floors.
"We're hoping that visitors will really connect
with the stories behind the wood floors we're
bringing to KBIS and use them in their projects,"
he added."Much of the wood was reclaimed from
buildings that helped drive the Industrial Revolution and would have come from trees in the U.S. In

that sense, they would be returning home."
The booth will showcase the company's Rare
Finds, a portfolio of engineered reclaimed and
antique wood that has been restored for today's
use. Visitors can see these fully restored floors,
which Walsh says are now ready to start the next
leg of their journey.
"The wood in our Rare Finds portfolio has
already been around for hundreds of years, often originating hundreds of miles from British
shores,"he explained."Each Rare Finds floor has a
truly unique story, and we can't wait to share these
stories with you in February."
