1. COSENTINO has launched its newest color, Portum,
as part of Dekton's Natural Collection. Drawing
inspiration from Portobello natural stone, Portum
features a matte-velvet finish and gray sculpturalpatterned veining set upon an ashen-white backdrop.
2. Inspired by Shangri-La, a mythical land of peace
and perpetual youth, HANSTONE QUARTZ's
Shangri-La color boasts vibrant garnet gem tones
and an elegant onyx-inspired pattern. The translucent
material can be underlit and is eco-friendly, stain
resistant, durable, nonporous and heat resistant.
3. FEDERAL BRACE has announced the return of
Stainless-Steel Island countertops to its product
line. This chef-quality prep surface is available in
the standard island size of 50-in. by 26-in. by 1.5-in.
Custom sizes, with cutouts for a sink, are also available.
4. Sofia Cuprum from NEOLITH is inspired by the
Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid from French architect,
Jean Nouvel. The semi-polished finish creates an
irregular and burnished impression that gives the surface
a worn-in yet striking touch and feel. The material is
offered in 6mm, 12mm and 20mm thicknesses.

5. The Pietra d'Iseo Collection from COTTO D'ESTE
is inspired by the typical Lombard stone, the Ceppo di
Grè, used to build the palaces, villas and monuments
that characterize the historical appearance of the city of
Milan. Pietra d'Iseo is available in four sizes and in 3.5
mm, 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm thicknesses (shown here.)
6. FORMICA GROUP introduces six new patterns to
its 180fx Laminate Line - the true-to-scale scanning
technology that gives the drama of exotic granites,
stones and woodgrains in a large-scale laminate.
Shown here, Nero Marquina references black marble
with crisp white veining originally from the region of
Markina in northern Spain.
7. WALKER ZANGER has updated its Magna
Recycled Glass slabs, which are made of 100 percent
recycled glass - specifically industrial glass and
glass bottles. The slabs - each one different - were
developed using a crystallization course, where parts
of the production are done by hand.
8. Hygienic and durable, LAMINAM slabs are available
in two sizes and four thicknesses with more than
120 textures. Shown here in the new Seta Liquorice
(central island top) and Bianco Assoluto (perimeter
top and doors), the slabs are resistant to scratches,
mildew, fungi, stains, chemicals and UV rays.
9. The Black and White Collection from WILSONART
goes beyond the alpha and omega of colors by
enhancing them with diverse designs, styles, scales
and materials. Available through Wilsonart's Virtual
Design Library, 18 new laminate patterns - including
Marble Fog, shown here - become the latest
additions to the boutique design collection.
