The ABCs of KBIS

A variety of new brands, programs, discussions & pavilions paves the way for the 2020 show

KBISNEXT EXPERIENCE IN SOUTH HALL
This area comprises five major initiatives, bringing
renewed energy and excitement to KBIS 2020.
* DISCOVERY DISTRICT:

At its core is the Discovery District Lounge, where the NKBA hosts
KB Talks podcasts, the Living in Place Institute
will entertain attendees at a very special "Cocktails & Challenges" experiential networking
event, and Chelsie Butler, executive editor of
KBB, will convene her annual Discovery District Tour. The ever-popular "Keys to the Discovery District" scavenger hunt will also return.

* KBIS THINK: Introduced during the 2019 edi-

tion, KBIS Think is the space where attendees
are invited to learn, network and immerse in
demonstrations and small learning sessions.Visit

* KBISNEXT STAGE: Better than

ever, the KBISNeXT Stage
will feature more than 15 presentation and panel
discussions and five awards programs. Kelli Ellis
will be hosting the DesignBites program,celebrating five years and bringing back some legacy participants to celebrate. Matthew Quinn, the KBB
Person of the Year will be interviewed by Chelsie
Butler, executive editor of KBB; and the NKBA
Thirty Under 30 2020 Class will be announced
and will scour the floor for their "30's Choice
Awards."The NKBA and Renovation Angel will
announce their first NKBA Renovation Annual
Luxury Recycled Kitchen Awards, and a number
of high-profile editors and design pros will be participating and moderating panels throughout the
three-day event.

BEST OF KBIS

The Best of KBIS program will take place on day two at the
KBISNeXT Stage. NKBA member judges will visit the top 50 finalists
on the show floor to make their winning selections. Brands may selfnominate for various categories. Awards will be made for the following:

KBIS HARD HAT MEDIA TOUR

The KBIS Hard Hat Media Tour has returned. The overall

title sponsor is Formica Corp., which will involve HGTV's
Leanne Ford at the gathering. Elkay is the breakfast sponsor, and Perlick Corp., as the tour coffee sponsor, will be serving its Nitro
Cold Brew. The tour will play host to 20 media visiting 10 brands on the
first morning of the show. Brands may self-nominate through October to
be considered for inclusion.

KBIS UNCORKED

- sponsored by Signature Kitchen Suite
KBIS Uncorked will close the first day - Jan. 21, 4:00
p.m.The Signature Kitchen Suite appliances team will
again sponsor the event at their Booth C8101. The event, co-hosted by
Modenus CEO Veronika Miller, will bring together social influencers and
media to network and see what's new.

DESIGNHOUNDS - KBIS

A select group of design and social influencers - DesignHounds - will sniff
out the newest, coolest, most interesting programs, products and places
in and around Las Vegas and KBIS. Sponsored by KBIS and Thermador, this savvy group will participate in events at the DMM Lounge, the
KBISNeXT Stage, KBIS Edit and the Discovery District.

CURATED VIP KBIS TOURS

Navigating KBIS/DCW has become a big job - with more than 600
brands and one million net square feet of ground to cover. KBIS 2020
introduces two specially created tours for attendees to consider, which will
be hosted by subject-matter experts and will visit 10 brands over a two-hour
time span. Brands will self-nominate for consideration, and tour guides
make the final stop selections. KBIS 2020 tours include:
* VIP TECHNOLOGY TOUR - hosted by Sally Finder, senior architecture
editor, Traditional Home
* VIP WELLNESS TOUR - Tour guide TBD

COTTAGES & GARDENS DESIGNER TOUR

KBIS 2020 is working with more than 30 media partners to produce
events and programming on the show floor. DJ Carey, editor in chief of
CT Cottages & Gardens, will be back with her VIP Designer Tour. Brands
may self-nominate for consideration. Carey will curate the tour and hand
select 20 designers - typically who have never attended KBIS - and guide
them through the experience.
