NKBA VOICES FROM THE INDUSTRY (VFTI)

NKBA "HISTORY OF THE KITCHEN"

More than 75 programs have been selected for
inclusion in the VFTI Conference. A combination
of popular returning presenters, as well as new
presenters and topics, makes for a powerful lineup. Some highlights include "Futurecasting the
Customer Experience," presented by Kate Bailey
of Ferguson Enterprises; "The Realities of Home
Technology Design" by Jamie Briesemeister of
Integrated Controls; "Winning Outdoor Kitchen
Design" by Russ Faulk, Kalamazoo Outdoor
Gourmet; and "Top 10 Trends in Residential
Housing" by Dan DiClerico of Home Advisor.

The NKBA booth will celebrate the history of
the kitchen. Tracing the evolution of appliances,
cabinetry, finishes, lighting and decorative
plumbing, this display will bring smiles as design
trends of the past 75 years are celebrated.

Once again, the NKBA will be celebrating the
best and the brightest with the NKBA Design +
Industry Awards, Design Competition, NKBA
Hall of Fame, Innovative Showroom Awards, the
NKBA President's Award and more being lauded
on Monday evening, Jan. 20 at the Wynn.

After the successful launch of NKBA Specialty
Badges last year, the association will be
conducting test-prep classes for three badges
- Sustainability, Cabinetry and Remodeling -
followed by a short break and then a one-hour
timed exam. One class will be offered each day;
members must purchase the program for the
specific badge prior to KBIS.

School District (Las Vegas) will attend a half-day
event, hearing from industry masters who have

show floor make up the program. The 2019 event
hosted 150 students, visiting more than 20 brands
and involving more than 20 industry masters.
