However, clients do not need to use the thermostat for audio because the condo is equipped
with a Bose speaker throughout the ceilings. The
speaker is a wireless, whole-house Wi-Fi network
that allows quality audio to be played in any room
- including the bathroom and kitchen - through
connected amps, soundbars and subwoofers.
"The main feature that impressed me was the
ease of features and controls, as well as the quality
of sound," said Bayon.
Whole-home connectivity continues with a
smart lighting system. Every single light in the
house is wired to one closet where the dimmers
and switches are hidden. Instead of the messy wall
clutter of light switches, this allows the clients to
set scenes like "Evening" and "Morning" for the
bathroom or "Party"in the kitchen on just a keypad.

The design of the kitchen and master bath aim to
make the homeowners' lives simpler, despite the
compact size of the spaces. Instead of installing
elements like connected appliances or a high-tech
showerhead, the designer chose high-functioning
products like a sink with a custom drain board
and accessories in the kitchen and an uplift medicine cabinet in the bathroom for an uncluttered
makeup station.
According to Bayon, her design of the master
bathroom in particular came down to the details,
where she had promised the client the ultimate
showering experience.
"Naturally, homeowners are spending a lot
more time in the bathroom, and they want it to
be an extension of the house with their technology and a get-away like a mini spa," she said,
explaining that the master shower boasts multiple body sprays, a rainhead and a hand shower.
"Typically, a bathroom is only so big, so every
square inch counts."
