Salignac VS. This is a clean, fullbodied spirit with a traditional
oaky taste and undertones of
caramel and citrus. Unlike the
typical cognac, in which the drink
is blended after the aging process,
Salignac is blended (or "married")
before aging, which results in a
more well balanced and mellow
flavor.
Courvoisier VSOP. A genuine
classic, Courvoisier is a smooth,
drinkable and extremely complex
cognac with notes of peach,
vanilla, jasmine and toasted
almond. Try it straight or swap
it for whiskey in your favorite
cocktail-such as a Courvoisier
Sour or Old-Fashioned.
D'usse VSOP. This top-ofthe-line cognac is a real treat.
Naturally aged for at least four
and a half years, it delivers hints
of cinnamon, honey and dried
fruit lurking behind the smoky,
woody flavor. This comes from
Château de Cognac, which has

been distilling fine spirits for more
than 200 years. D'usse is robust
yet delicate with a rich amber
color and a bouquet of caramel and
apricots.
Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal.
In 1738 King Louis XV of France
issued a royal decree allowing
Rémy Martin to enlarge his
vineyard. Martin was a winemaker
who'd begun producing cognac
in 1824. King Louis even donated
some of his private land for the
expansion. Today, Rémy Martin's
1738 Accord Royal celebrates its
noble heritage with a cognac that's
simultaneously mellow and rich,
complex yet smooth.
Hardy Organic VSOP. Anthony
Hardy was an upscale English wine
merchant. In 1863, during one of
his frequent trips to France, he
decided to focus on cognac. In fact,
he relocated to France, changed
his name to Antoine, and founded
Maison Hardy. Today the company
is run by Bénédicte Hardy, the

producers. The family's Organic
VSOP has a deep amber color, is
exceedingly fresh and pure, and
lingers on the palate. On the nose,
there are hints of stone fruit and
young flowers, while the taste

fruit and roasted hazelnuts. This

Hennessy XO. First produced by
Maurice Hennessy in 1870, this
spirit was meant to be shared only
among his friends. History has
proven that it has a much broader
appeal. Hennessey XO has the
distinction of being the first cognac
designated as "extra old." This is
a bold and intense spirit that's
also surprisingly warm and subtle.
Each moment on the palate reveals
another layer of taste-pepper,
chocolate, wood, candied fruit. This
is a cognac to savor, and it's still
perfect for sharing with friends
and family.
