RTDs are the inevitable next step, especially
since, today, we like innovation and convenience
above almost everything else. Moreover, RTDs are
typically low-alcohol, so, unlike drinking straight
spirits or mixing your own cocktails, you don't have
to worry about accidentally drinking cocktails that
are too strong.
The trend has been remarkably strong. In
America, RTDs enjoyed a 40% market growth in
2018 alone, and a 5% uptick globally. According to
Nielsen, the data analytics giant, fruit flavors are the
most popular variety and young adults are the most
devoted consumers. Projections by IWSR Drinks
Market Analysis, suggest that, by 2023, roughly 600
million cases of RTDs will be consumed
worldwide.

1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz Simple Syrup
Lemon twist/slice to garnish

2 oz Bird Dog Peach Flavored Whiskey
Sweet or Iced Tea to Taste
Garnish: Fresh Peach Slice

Pour ingredients into
ice filled old fashioned
glass and stir. Add lemon
twist/slice to garnish.

Build: Fill a rocks or Collins glass with
ice. Add Bird Dog Peach Whiskey, then
sweet or iced tea to taste.
Blackberry Option: Make this drink
with Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey
(in place of the Bird Dog Peach
Whiskey) and fresh
blackberries (in
place of the peach
slice) for a slightly
different southern
drink.
