Our four trail breweries are quite distinct from the others and each other. In
downtown Lexington, Heliotrope Brewery is a Main Street appeal with wood-fired
pizza. They are also a Craft Malt Certified Brewery, meaning at least 10% of their
annual malt usage is craft malt. Heliotrope's is 99% and most of it occurs in-house
with local grain producers.
Visit Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery where the views are as spectacular
as the beverages being served. Food trucks and live music rotate through most
weekends; sit back and relax.
Devils Backbone Outpost Tap Room & Kitchen is the largest craft beer producer
in Rockbridge County and the home base for nationally known, award-winning
favorite Vienna Lager. Grab a snack from the kitchen, and soak in their hilltop patio
views.
Our latest addition to the trail is Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery, a renown winery
now crafting their own small-batch beer. Live music most weekends sets the tone for
unwinding with a new brew.
